Government Licensing

Doha Institute for Environmental Training & Consulting operates under an official license issued by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change – State of Qatar, authorizing the institute to deliver professional training and consulting services in environmental safety and radiation protection.

All training activities are conducted within the approved legal and regulatory framework and under the supervision of the relevant regulatory authorities.

Training Content Authorization

The training curricula and educational materials delivered by Doha Institute for Environmental Training & Consulting are reviewed and approved by the relevant local authorities, including:

  • Ministry of Environment and Climate Change – State of Qatar
  • National authorities responsible for radiation and nuclear oversight

Training programs are developed and periodically updated in line with local regulatory requirements to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and practical applicability across medical, industrial, and oil & gas sectors.

Important Clarification

The institute does not currently claim any international academic or training accreditation. All programs are delivered based on official local approvals and authorized training content within the State of Qatar.

Applied International Standards

While the institute's official accreditation status is local, all training programs are designed, delivered, and continuously updated in accordance with internationally recognized best practices in radiation protection, while remaining fully compliant with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.

This includes alignment with:
  • Guidelines and safety standards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
  • Recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP)
These standards are applied across:
  • Curriculum design
  • Training and qualification requirements
  • Radiation risk assessment
  • Operational safety practices
  • Dose assessment and shielding calculations

Future Accreditation Roadmap

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and training excellence, Doha Institute for Environmental Training & Consulting is evaluating future pathways toward obtaining international accreditations from recognized professional bodies.

  • Any such accreditation will be pursued only after fulfilling all technical, regulatory, and legal requirements and in full alignment with applicable regulations in the State of Qatar.
  • All official international accreditations, once obtained, will be publicly announced through formal channels.
Transparency Statement: Current status is local authorization. Future international accreditation will be formally documented and publicly disclosed.
